Head Start Music Program
The Sooke Family Resource Society offers a free music program called Head Start (registration is required – call or visit SFRS at CASA) provided by the Victoria Conservatory of Music and held at the CASA building on Townsend Road. Activities include singing, moving, listening, and instrument playing to help children learn. It is offered for 2-3 year olds and 3-5 year olds.

Amber Academy
Amber Academy encourages positive youth development by engaging students in pro-social activities focused on the fine arts. We offer after-school classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for students in grades K-12. Classes include acting, choir, costumes & fashion design, technical theatre, and visual arts such as painting, sculpting, and more. Throughout the year students from all classes collaborate together with the goal of creating multiple performances – including a musical theatre production almost entirely driven by the students themselves! Healthy after-school snacks are included as part of the program.

Sooke Children’s Garden Club
This club meets monthly from May through October; all children ages 3 and up are welcome to attend. Offers the opportunity for children to learn the basics of gardening and environmental stewardship, encourages them to volunteer in our community, and supports the Sooke Fall Fair.
